About the Doctor:

Dr. Joyce S. Waintraub is a Developmental (also known as Behavioral) Optometrist and the Director of Inspire Vision & Learning Center. She graduated with honors from SUNY College of Optometry and earned lifetime membership in Beta Sigma Kappa, the Optometric Honors Society. Dr. Waintraub completed internships in Pediatrics, Infant Vision, Strabismus, Vision Therapy, Perceptual Therapy, Head Trauma and Ocular Disease. She is licensed in New York and New Jersey as well as certified as a Therapeutic Optometrist from the state of New Jersey, allowing her to treat and manage eye disease with topical and oral prescription medication.

Dr. Waintraub is a Clinical Associate of The College of Optometrists in Vision Development and The Optometric Extension Program. Since graduating from Optometry school, she has had the privelege of serving Bergen County and beyond in private practice. Her passion is helping people through vision therapy. With a developmental and integrative approach, Dr. Waintraub takes the time to listen and treat each person as a whole. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, reading, cross country skiing, hiking and swimming.
